Update (7/23):
The developers informed me today that they are close to finishing the
basic islands, though they are still expecting to give us the patch to
begin testing at the end of the month. One change they told me about
was that it was too tricky to do the teleporting potion well in the
amount of time that they had (I guess they were running into problems
with terrain or something). So the new plan we're discussing is to add
3 NPCs on the island that essentially do the same thing only they're
stationary.
