The biggest news for us is that we have finished setting up machines on our end that will be used for the beta server. They have now been handed off to the development team who will be setting up the game on them and then giving us a new client that connects to that server. This will probably take them several days (and don't forget they have a holiday coming up). After that we'd need to create an installer, do testing, and perform login integration with our live website. So still a few very important steps left, however as far as I can tell we still appear to be on schedule to launch closed beta in early Feb.
We are also currently requesting a new build that should contain more fixes for issues we reported. By the way once closed beta begins it our goal to try and get everyone who signed up for CB in fairly quickly so we can ... Read more »
