| Update ( 8/26 ):
Today was very productive for us, but there is still a fair amount left to do before everything is ready for Closed Beta 2. I'm hoping we won't have any delay, but we'll probably be cutting it close to the end of the month. The biggest accomplishment today was sending off our first bug report for the new version of the game. We got some excellent assistance on our testing and I can't wait until we're open for beta and everyone can help us with further testing. But before that there's a number of "obvious" issues we came across that were reported to the developers, which we are waiting to hear back on. I don't expect all of the issues to be fixed by the beginning of CB2 due to the fact that there probably won't be enough time for that, but the good news is that developers will be able to send us updates after the beta starts so we'll continue making improvements as we go. Live servers are still being setup, but we're making good progress here. We're also still making preparations with OnRPG. In addition to having them host the game client and the beta keys, we'll probably do an interview with them at some point in the near future, so that's something to look forward to. Finally, we're thinking of adding 1 or more additional game sages for Closed Beta 2. Stay tuned for more information about this. | |
